Prices for electricity， tap water and natural gas tumbled 13.9 percent due to lower global oil prices and a temporary cut in electric bills， pulling down the headline inflation by 0.64 percentage points.


Core consumer prices， which exclude volatile agricultural and oil products， rose 1.3 percent in September compared with a year ago. The OECD-method core inflation， which excludes volatile food and energy prices， advanced 1.8 percent last month.

SEOUL, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Samsung Electronics looked fast in responding to one of its biggest product quality crises at a glance, but the seemingly rapid response turned out to be a failure in terms of communicating with consumers and handling it fairly in every country.


When the South Korean tech behemoth announced a global recall of its new flagship Galaxy Note 7 smartphones for a fire hazard of batteries on Sept. 2 Nike Air Max 97 Nere Scontate , it indicated the company takes back all of about 2.5 million Note 7 phones shipped until the previous day.
